SERVPRO of Southwest Portland was able to clean 4 vehicles and 5,000 square feet for COVID in an auto parts store. In less than a day our crew had the building ready to be open and ready for business.  Each surface needed to be wiped down and then the building fogged for COVID. Blood spatter on the wall and floor

This is one of our professionally trained and certified crew chiefs cleaning up a large saturated blood spot on the floor and some spatter off the walls. An incident occurred in a business park gym that was an open area for several employees and visitors, so this biohazard needed proper cleaning and disposal right away. To prevent others from coming in contact with the hazardous area and drawing attention to the mess, we went in at night after business hours to get it cleared away. All the layers of the flooring where the blood pooled were cut out, removed, and taken to be disposed of. The floor was later replaced to match the original, and the area looks the same as it did prior to this incident.

Biohazard cleanup area

This mess was left on the ground outside a local bank. We scheduled a time to set up a containment tent and get the biohazard cleaned up discretely. It was important to set up containment for the safety of others and the bank could stay open for business. There were a lot of used syringes and debris to sort through and dispose of properly. We had a team out there that is certified in biohazard cleanup and it took them a few hours from start to finish. In the picture you can see the conditions of what the crew had to clean through and make sure everything was picked up.
