In the early hours of SERVPRO of Southwest Portland’s, workday received a call regarding a water loss in a local home. The homeowner noticed a leak in their basement from his toilet supply line once he noticed he instantly turned it off. Unfountranetly they just purchased a brand new carpet that was also affected by the water damage.
SERVPRO of Southwest Portland headed out and arrived on site within 45 minutes from the call being received. Upon arrival and doing an initial walk through the drying plan was thought out and once it was finished our team of trained professionals got to work. Our team decided that they would be able to extract the water from the carpet in order to keep it.
As time went on it was also decided that the vanity in the bathroom needed to be removed along with the baseboards. SERVPRO of Southwest Portland brought in multiple air movers in order to help speed up the drying process in the basement to get this homeowner back to enjoying the time they spend in the basement.
