A Local bearing company discovers huge water loss

HVAC leaked over the weekend

Earlier this fall SERVPRO of Southwest Portland received a call from a local bearing company regarding a water loss. The HVAC leaked over the weekend into the server room once we got the call our trained professionals got there within the hour.

Once SERVPRO of Southwest Portland arrived they noticed the ceiling was affected, the glued down carpet tiles that now needed to be pulled up. The bearing company had large fans blowing since that morning but there was still a lot of moisture and a smell coming from the room. The next step was to come up with a drying plan to get this water loss taken care of as soon as possible.

SERVPRO of Southwest Portland crew dedicated that they must remove all affected carpet and drywall in the server room. Once it’s all removed the next step was to set containment in the doorway with a dehumidifier exhaust ducted to the hallway to keep the server as cool as possible.
