SERVPRO of Southwest Portland was able to get the tenant back into their home and it only took two days.

SERVPRO of Southwest Portland received a call one afternoon from a retirement plaza in the downtown Portland area regarding an interesting loss. The owner of the plaza called and mentioned that some of they moved the tenant’s belongings in order to replace the flooring and the paint. This removal caused a lot of dust and the current tenant is especially sensitive to dust. 

The owner mentioned that they needed us to perform a thorough cleaning so the tenant is able to move back into their home as soon as possible. Our crew of well-trained professionals loaded up the truck and headed out to the retirement plaza. During the initial walkthrough with the owner, it was apparent that this post-construction clean is coming after the new hardwood floors were installed and concrete fringing to make the floor level. 

The next step for our crew was for our crew chief to make a drying plan and it was as followed. Clean unit complete in order to remove all concrete dust and hardwood floor dust, including closets and cabinets and all the contents in those affected areas. Our crew washed all the dishes then proceeded to put them back into the cabinets with the closets they needed to be lightly dusted since there was a large number of contents in the closet.
